성경말씀: 고린도전서 3:1~13

1 <사람을 좇아가는 어리석음> 성도 여러분, 이전에 나는 성령에 속한 사람에게 말하듯이 여러분에게 할 수가 없어서 세상에 속한 사람을 대하듯, 다시 말해서 그리스도 안에서 어린아이를 대하듯 말할 수밖에 없었습니다. 2 그 때, 나는 여러분에게 단단한 음식이 아니라 우유를 먹였습니다. 여러분이 단단한 음식을 먹을 준비가 전혀 되어 있지 않았기 때문인데, 지금도 여전히 받을 준비가 되어 있지 않습니다. 3 여러분은 아직도 세상에 속해 있습니다. 시기와 다툼이 여러분 안에 있으니 이것이 바로 세상에 속한 것이고 세상 사람들처럼 행동하는 것이 아닙니까? 4 어떤 사람이 “나는 바울파다”라고 말하자, 다른 사람은 “나는 아볼로파다”라고 말하고 있으니, 세상에 속한 사람이 아니면 무엇이겠습니까? 5 도대체 아볼로가 무엇이고 바울이 무엇입니까? 나나 아볼로나 여러분을 믿도록 하고, 주님께서 각 사람에게 할 일을 맡기셔서 일하는 일꾼에 불과합니다.  도대체 아볼로가 무엇이고 바울이 무엇입니까? 6 나는 씨앗을 심었고, 아볼로는 물을 주었으나, 자라게 하시는 분은 하나님이십니다. 7 그러므로 심는 사람이나 물을 주는 사람은 아무것도 아니지만, 자라게 하시는 분인 하나님은 중요합니다. 8 심는 사람과 물 주는 사람은 하나의 목적 때문에 일을 합니다. 각 사람은 자기가 한 수고만큼 보수를 받을 것입니다. 9 우리는 하나님의 동역자요, 여러분은 하나님의 밭이며, 하나님의 건물입니다.10 나는 하나님께서 내게 주신 은혜대로 유능한 건축가처럼 기초를 놓았습니다. 하지만 다른 사람들은 그 위에 건물을 세우고 있습니다. 그러나 각 사람은 이 기초 위에 어떻게 건물을 세워야 할지 주의해야 합니다.11 아무도 이미 놓여 있는 기초 외에 다른 기초를 놓을 수 없습니다. 왜냐하면 그 기초는 예수 그리스도이시기 때문입니다.12 어떤 사람이 이 기초 위에 금이나 은이나 보석이나 또는 나무나 풀이나 짚 등을 이용하여 건물을 세울 것인데13 각 사람이 일한 성과가 드러나게 될 것입니다. 그 날은 불로 나타나기 때문에 일한 것이 밝히 드러날 것입니다. 그래서 그 불이 각 사람의 한 일을 검증할 것입니다. 1Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people.[b] I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. 2 I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready, 3 for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world? 4 When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world? 5 After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. 6 I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. 7 It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. 9 For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building. 10 Because of God’s grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. 12 Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. 13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. 14 If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. (New Living Translation)

성경말씀: 느헤미야 8:1-12

1 <에스라가 율법을 읽다> 일곱째 달이 되자, 이스라엘 백성은 모두 자기 마을에 자리잡고 살게 되었습니다. 이스라엘의 모든 백성이 ‘물 문’ 앞 광장에 모였습니다. 그들은 제사장이자 학자인 에스라에게 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 주신 모세의 율법책을 읽어 줄 것을 요청했습니다. 2 그래서 제사장 에스라가 무리를 위해 율법책을 가져왔습니다. 그 때는 일곱째 달 초하루였습니다. 남녀노소 누구나 듣고 깨달을 만한 사람은 다 모여들었습니다. 3 에스라는 ‘물 문’ 앞 광장에서 이른 아침부터 한낮까지 율법책을 소리내어 읽었습니다. 에스라는 듣고 깨달을 만한 모든 사람에게 율법책을 읽어 주었고, 그들은 율법책의 말씀에 귀를 기울였습니다. 4 에스라는 높은 나무 단 위에 섰습니다. 그 나무 단은 이번 일을 위해 따로 만든 것이었습니다. 에스라의 오른쪽에는 맛디댜와 스마와 아나야와 우리야와 힐기야와 마아세야가 섰고, 왼쪽에는 브다야와 미사엘과 말기야와 하숨과 하스밧다나와 스가랴와 므술람이 섰습니다. 5 에스라가 율법책을 폈습니다. 에스라가 높은 데에 서 있었기 때문에 누구나 다 그를 볼 수 있었습니다. 에스라가 책을 펴자, 모든 백성이 자리에서 일어섰습니다. 6 에스라가 위대하신 하나님 여호와를 찬양했습니다. 그러자 모든 백성들이 손을 들고 “아멘! 아멘!” 하고 말하면서 엎드려 얼굴을 땅에 대고 여호와께 경배하였습니다. 7 낭독을 듣기 위해 서 있는 백성들에게 레위 사람인 예수아와 바니와 세레뱌와 야민과 악굽과 사브대와 호디야와 마아세야와 그리다와 아사랴와 요사밧과 하난과 블라야가 율법을 가르쳐 주었습니다. 8 그들은 하나님의 율법책을 백성들이 알아듣기 쉽게 읽어 주었습니다. 그리고 그 뜻을 설명해 주었으므로 백성들은 그들이 읽어 주는 말씀을 깨달았습니다. 9 그런 뒤에 총독 느헤미야와 제사장이자 학자인 에스라, 그리고 백성들을 가르치던 레위 사람들이 모든 백성에게 말했습니다. “오늘은 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 거룩한 날이오. 울거나 슬퍼하지 마시오.” 그들이 이 말을 한 것은 백성들이 율법의 말씀을 들으면서 울었기 때문입니다. 10 느헤미야가 말했습니다. “가서 기름진 음식을 먹고 좋은 음료수를 드십시오. 그리고 아무것도 먹을 것이 없는 사람에게는 먹을 것을 주십시오. 오늘은 주의 거룩한 날이오. 슬퍼하지 마시오. 여호와를 기뻐하는 것이 곧 여러분에게 힘이 될 것이오.” 11 레위 사람들이 백성을 달래며 말했습니다. “조용히 하시오. 오늘은 거룩한 날이니 슬퍼하지 마시오.” 12 그러자 모든 백성이 가서 먹고 마셨습니다. 그들은 먹을 것을 다른 사람에게도 주었고, 크게 기뻐하며 즐거워했습니다. 그들이 마침내 들은 말씀을 깨달았기 때문입니다. 1 all the people assembled with a unified purpose at the square just inside the Water Gate. They asked Ezra the scribe to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had given for Israel to obey.2 So on October 8[a] Ezra the priest brought the Book of the Law before the assembly, which included the men and women and all the children old enough to understand. 3 He faced the square just inside the Water Gate from early morning until noon and read aloud to everyone who could understand. All the people listened closely to the Book of the Law.4 Ezra the scribe stood on a high wooden platform that had been made for the occasion. To his right stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah. To his left stood Pedaiah, Mishael, Malkijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam. 5 Ezra stood on the platform in full view of all the people. When they saw him open the book, they all rose to their feet.6 Then Ezra praised the Lord, the great God, and all the people chanted, “Amen! Amen!” as they lifted their hands. Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.7 The Levites—Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah—then instructed the people in the Law while everyone remained in their places. 8 They read from the Book of the Law of God and clearly explained the meaning of what was being read, helping the people understand each passage.9 Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who were interpreting for the people said to them, “Don’t mourn or weep on such a day as this! For today is a sacred day before the Lord your God.” For the people had all been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law.10 And Nehemiah[b] continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”11 And the Levites, too, quieted the people, telling them, “Hush! Don’t weep! For this is a sacred day.” 12 So the people went away to eat and drink at a festive meal, to share gifts of food, and to celebrate with great joy because they had heard God’s words and understood them. 성경말씀: 요한복음 2:1-11

1 삼 일째 되던 날에 갈릴리에 있는 가나라는 마을에서 결혼식이 열렸습니다. 예수님의 어머니도 결혼식에 참석하였고, 2 예수님과 그분의 제자들도 결혼식에 초대받았습니다. 3 포도주가 바닥났을 때, 예수님의 어머니가 예수님께 “이 집의 포도주가 다 떨어졌구나”라고 말해 주었습니다. 4 예수님께서는 “어머니, 왜 저에게 이런 부탁을 하십니까? 저의 때가 아직 오지 않았습니다”라고 대답하셨습니다. 5 예수님의 어머니는 하인들에게 “그분이 시키시는 일은 무엇이든지 하여라” 하고 말해 두었습니다. 6 그 집에는 돌로 만든 물 항아리가 여섯 개 있었습니다. 이 항아리는 유대인들이 정결 예식에 사용하는 항아리들이었습니다. 그것은 각각 물 두세 동이를 담을 수 있는 항아리였습니다. 7 예수님께서 하인들에게 “항아리에 물을 채워라” 하고 말씀하셨습니다. 하인들은 항아리에 물을 가득 채웠습니다. 8 그러자 예수님께서는 그들에게 “자, 이제 그것을 퍼다가 잔치를 주관하는 사람에게 갖다 주어라” 하고 말씀하셨습니다. 하인들은 물을 떠서 잔치를 주관하는 사람에게 갖다 주었습니다. 9 하인이 떠다 준 물을 잔치를 주관하는 사람이 맛보았을 때, 그 물은 포도주가 되어 있었습니다. 그는 그 포도주가 어디서 난 것인지 알지 못하였지만, 물을 가져온 하인들은 알고 있었습니다. 잔치를 주관하는 사람은 신랑을 불렀습니다. 10 그리고 그에게 “사람들은 항상 처음에 좋은 포도주를 내놓고, 손님들이 취한 다음에는 값싼 포도주를 내놓는 법인데, 당신은 지금까지 가장 좋은 포도주를 보관하고 계셨군요” 하고 말하였습니다. 11 예수님께서는 이 첫 번째 표적을 갈릴리 가나에서 행하셨으며, 거기서 그의 영광을 보여 주셨습니다. 그러자 그의 제자들이 그를 믿게 되었습니다. 1 The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. 3 The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus' mother told him, "They have no more wine." 4 "Dear woman, that's not our problem," Jesus replied. "My time has not yet come." 5 But his mother told the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." 6 Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. 7 Jesus told the servants, "Fill the jars with water." When the jars had been filled, 8 he said, "Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies." So the servants followed his instructions. 9 When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. 10 "A host always serves the best wine first," he said. "Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!" 11 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him. (New Living Translation)

성경말씀: 스가랴 4:1~7

4:1 <다섯 번째 환상: 등잔대> 나와 이야기하던 천사가 내게로 돌아와서 나를 깨웠는데, 나는 마치 잠에서 깨어난 듯했다. 2 천사가 내게 물었다. “무엇이 보이느냐?” 내가 대답했다. “순금으로 된 등잔대가 보입니다. 그 꼭대기에는 그릇이 있고 등잔이 일곱 개 있습니다. 그리고 심지 받침도 일곱 개 있습니다. 3 그 곁에는 올리브 나무 두 그루가 있는데 하나는 그릇 오른쪽에 있고,다른 하나는 그릇 왼쪽에 있습니다.” 4 내가 나와 이야기하던 천사에게 물었다. “이것들이 무엇입니까?” 5 천사가 말했다. “이것들이 무엇인지 모르느냐?” 내가 대답했다. “내 주여, 모릅니다.” 6 그러자 천사가 내게 말했다. “이것은 여호와께서 스룹바벨에게 하시는 말씀이다. ‘네 능력이나 힘으로 되는 것이 아니라 오직 내 영으로만 된다’고 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. 7 어떤 산도 스룹바벨이 나아가는 길을 가로막을 수 없다. 모든 산이 낮아질 것이다. 그러면 그가 꼭대기 돌을 가져올 것이며, ‘은혜, 은혜!’ 하고 외치는 소리가 들릴 것이다.” (쉬운성경)

 

1 Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is awakened from his sleep. 2 He said to me, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it 3 also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side." 4 Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me saying, "What are these, my lord?" 5 So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord." 6 Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. 7 'What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" (NASB)
