성경말씀: 요한계시록 22:1-7

1 그 천사는 또 내게 생명수가 흐르는 강을 보여주었습니다. 수정같이 맑은 그 강은 하나님과 어린양의 보좌로부터 흘러나와 2 그 성의 넓은 거리 한가운데로 흐르고 있었습니다. 강 양쪽에는 생명나무가 있어서 일 년에 열 두 번, 달마다 새로운 열매를 맺고 있었습니다. 또 그 잎은 모든 사람들을 치료하는 데 사용되었습니다. 3 하나님께서 죄 있다고 심판하실 것이 그 성에는 없었습니다. 하나님과 어린양의 보좌가 그 곳에 있고, 그분의 종들은 다 그분을 섬길 것입니다. 4 그들은 하나님의 얼굴을 볼 것이며, 그들의 이마에는 하나님의 이름이 기록될 것입니다. 5 그 곳에는 밤도 없고 등불이나 햇빛이 필요 없을 것입니다. 주 하나님께서 그들의 빛이 되시고, 그들은 거기서 영원히 왕처럼 살 것입니다. 6 그 천사는 또 나에게 이렇게 말하였습니다. “이것은 참되고 진실한 말씀이다. 주님은 예언자들에게 성령을 통해 말씀하셨다. 이제 그분께서 이렇게 천사를 보내어 앞으로 일어날 일들을 알리신 것이다.” 7 “보아라! 내가 속히 가겠다! 이 책에 기록된 예언의 말씀을 지키는 자들에게는 복이 있을 것이다.” (쉬운성경)

1 Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. 3 No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. 4 And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 And there will be no night there - no need for lamps or sun - for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. 6 Then the angel said to me, "Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true. The Lord God, who inspires his prophets①, has sent his angel to tell his servants what will happen soon." 7 "Look, I am coming soon! 성경말씀: 마태복음 7:15-20

15 “거짓 예언자들을 조심하여라. 그들은 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 다가온다. 그러나 그 속은 굶주린 늑대이다. 16 그들의 열매를 보고, 그들을 알 것이다. 가시나무에서 포도를 딸 수 있느냐? 엉겅퀴에서 무화과를 딸 수 있느냐? 17 마찬가지로 좋은 나무는 모두 좋은 열매를 맺고, 나쁜 나무는 나쁜 열매를 맺는다. 18 좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없고, 나쁜 나무가 좋은 열매를 맺을 수 없다. 19 좋은 열매를 맺지 못하는 나무는 모두 잘려서 불 속에 던져진다. 20 그러므로 열매를 보고 그들을 알 것이다.” (쉬운성경)

15 "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. 16 You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can't produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can't produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. 성경말씀: 예레미야 17:5-10

5 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “사람을 의지하며 육체를 자기 힘으로 삼고 여호와에게서 마음을 돌린 사람은 저주를 받을 것이다. 6 그들은 사막의 키 작은 나무 같아서 좋은 일이 찾아와도 보지 못한다. 그들은 아무도 살지 않는 소금 땅, 황무지에서 살게 될 것이다. 7 그러나 여호와를 믿고 여호와만을 의지하는 사람은 복을 받을 것이다. 8 그는 물가에 심은 나무 같아서 든든한 뿌리가 물가로 뻗어 있으니 날이 뜨거워도 두려울 것이 없고 그 잎사귀가 늘 푸르다. 비가 오지 않아도 걱정할 것이 없으며 언제나 열매를 맺는다. 9 그 어느 것보다도 비뚤어진 것은 사람의 마음이다. 사람의 마음은 심히 악하기 때문에 아무도 그 속을 알 수 없다. 10 그러나 나 여호와는 사람의 속을 살필 수 있고, 사람의 마음을 시험해 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 나는 각 사람이 일하고 행동한 대로 갚을 수 있다.” (쉬운성경)

5 This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD. 6 He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. 7 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." 9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. 5 “나는 포도나무요, 너희는 가지다. 사람이 내 안에 있고 내가 그 안에 있으면, 그는 열매를 많이 맺는다. 그러나 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무것도 할 수 없다. 6 누구든지 내 안에 있지 않으면, 그 사람은 꺾여서 말라 버리는 가지와 같다. 사람들이 그 마른 가지를 주워다 불에 던져 태워 버릴 것이다. 7 너희가 내 안에 있고 내 말이 너희 안에 있으면, 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하여라. 그리하면 너희에게 이루어질 것이다. 8 너희가 열매를 많이 맺어 내 제자인 것을 나타내면 이것으로 내 아버지께서는 영광을 받으신다. 9 아버지께서 나를 사랑하신 것같이 나도 너희를 사랑하였다. 이제 내 사랑 안에 머물러 있어라. 10 내가 내 아버지의 계명을 지켰고 그의 사랑 안에 있는 것처럼 너희가 내 계명을 지키면, 내 사랑 안에 있을 것이다.” (쉬운성경)

5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8 When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. 9 "I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. 13 예수님께서 빌립보 지방에 있는 가이사랴에 가셨습니다. 예수님께서 제자들에게 “사람들이 인자를 누구라고 하느냐?” 하고 물으셨습니다. 14 제자들이 대답했습니다. “어떤 사람들은 세례자 요한이라고도 하고, 또 어떤 사람들은 엘리야라고 합니다. 또 어떤 사람들은 예레미야나 예언자 가운데 한 사람이라고 합니다.” 15 예수님께서 제자들에게 물으셨습니다. “그러면 너희는 나를 누구라고 하느냐?” 16 시몬 베드로가 대답했습니다. “주님은 그리스도시며, 살아 계신 하나님의 아들이십니다.” 17 예수님께서 베드로에게 말씀하셨습니다. “요나의 아들 시몬 아 네가 복되다. 네 혈육이 이것을 네게 알려 준 것이 아니라, 하늘에 계신 내 아버지께서 알려 주신 것이다. 18 내가 네게 말한다. 너는 베드로다. 내가 이 돌 위에 내 교회를 지을 것이니, 지옥의 문이 이것을 이기지 못할 것이다. 19 내가 네게 하늘 나라의 열쇠를 줄 것이다. 무엇이든지 네가 땅에서 잠그면 하늘에서도 잠겨 있을 것이요, 무엇이든지 네가 땅에서 열면 하늘에서도 열려 있을 것이다.” 20 그리고 나서 예수님께서 제자들에게 자신이 그리스도라는 것을 아무에게도 말하지 말라고 엄히 일렀습니다. Messiah [a Hebrew term] and Christ [a Greek term] both mean "the anointed one." 17 Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John①, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you.
